Accounts Payable ManagerSpyglass Corporate Services Group offers small and medium sized companies world class corporate services. We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance team at our Lake Forest location. We are looking for a perfect fit of education, experience and attitude that matches our company culture to support and enhance the Finance Department’s effectiveness.Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operation on a high-volume accounts payable department
Responsible for controlling and maintaining the accounts in the payables system module; review cash disbursements; ensure accurate allocations to the correct G/L account
Reconcile vendor statements
Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers
Maintain accurate financial records and control reports
Process and analyze invoices and expense reports for accuracy and eligibility for payment
Verify proper authorizations are notated on the invoices
Process and handle month end, quarter end, and year end close; assist with accrual process
Verify accuracy of A/P batch output to ensure correct coding of vendor, cost center, G/L account, invoice amount, and match items to either check register or ACH transaction
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
Successfully manage all vendor responsibilities
Perform vendor analysis, expense review and analysis, and support corporate procurement functions
Research, analyze, and resolve complex payment and vendor issues
Ability to research and answer questions posted by Senior Management
Enforce compliance of the company’s policies and procedures
Establish and maintain A/P operating procedures and processes and effectively communicate to staff

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar preferred
5+ years high-volume accounts payable experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
Oracle experience a plus
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Self-starter with an eye for detail
