Our Global Sourcing team is expanding and adding a new Associate, Strategic Planning & Analytics to support our ongoing enterprise-wide procurement initiatives.
As an essential part of the Analytics & Planning team, you’ll spearhead the planning, preparation, and execution of monthly steering committee meetings. Bringing together the heads of procurement from each business unit, these meetings are the primary means by which initiative priorities are determined, updates are shared, and opportunities are discussed. As the driving force behind these meetings, you’ll develop your executive communication skills and build relationships across the enterprise while helping determine the long-term direction of the procurement initiative.
You will also collaborate on challenging and wide-ranging projects with the opportunity to own, lead, and drive lasting business improvements. You will expand your knowledge by solving complex business problems, learning to create strategies for change, and winning buy-in to successfully impact the company while receiving engaged support & mentorship from the team.

The Associate, Strategic Planning & Analytics will have a hybrid work schedule, based at our Los Angeles office (11444 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064).

Job Description

Lead planning, preparation, and execution of monthly Purchasing Board Meetings
Drive goal setting, planning, and other strategic projects in support of the Purchasing Board
Generate ideas for potential projects by soliciting ideas from team members, researching best practices, reviewing vendor offerings, an analyzing internal & external data
Collaborate with business unit teams and other subject matter experts to assess, structure, and prioritize potential projects
Synthesize findings, prepare presentations to summarize findings, and present recommendations to executives and other stakeholders
Lead cross-functional and cross-unit projects focused on improving processes, creating policies, & implementing tools to increase efficiency and efficacy of procurement
Support sustainability and supplier diversity efforts by helping define goals and execute projects in pursuit of them
Execute project reflections to assess impact of and identify learnings from past project


3-5 years of experience in finance, consulting, or other analytical business function preferred
High proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytics, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience gaining buy-in for and managing execution of complex cross-functional projects
Experience in sourcing or consumer packaged goods is not required, but preferred
