Deloitte recently launched the Converge™ hybrid market offering as part of a $750M investment in product development over the next 5 years, which will blend the agility of a startup and the reach of a leading professional services firm. Converge is launching a Banking Suite product line to compete in the exciting FinTech ecosystem, which will focus on delivering a world-class customer experience for consumer and small businesses of smaller banks and non-banks. The Banking Suite platform is a cloud-native stack at every layer and aims to help Banking Suite clients compete with large bank incumbents and FinTechs with the flexibility to deliver innovative marketing, product, and pricing strategies, while enjoying dramatically lower digital bank operating costs. The Banking Suite team is looking to build a FinTech startup team with a passion for innovation and the experience to launch a high-quality digital banking product.

The role

Lead end-to-end product design for the BankingSuite platform across all business capabilities and major custom-built and vendor technology solutions, inclusive of B2B distribution, business configuration, B2C customer experience, banking, and value-added features.
Maintain a comprehensive and cohesive business capability model used in strategic planning and traceable to tactical execution via detailed business process flows.
Define the standard for creating Solution Architecture deliverables for GTM SaaS products or internal platform capabilities.
Complete strategic assessments with recommendations, and define OKR’s and KPI’s, for the highest priority features.
Build and maintain the financial business model for the B2B and B2B2C businesses to ensure long term platform viability.

Work you’ll do

Develop and maintain the business capability model, level 2 business process flows, business metrics, and information architecture across the BankingSuite platform, serving both B2C and B2B client needs. Ensure the business capability model is the main organizing force across the operating model, including organizational design, systems design, project planning, product documentation, agile delivery, and goal management. Leverage the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN) architectural standards as the baseline for business architecture deliverables
Produce future state solution architecture deliverables that are “build-ready” for differentiating or high-complexity capabilities such as cross-product and joint-account onboarding, omni-channel feature delivery, B2B client configurability, and tiered verification of users and roles
Define the standards for providing a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise, with traceability to detailed feature lists and working software throughout current and future state business architecture deliverables
Capture strategic and tactical OKR’s and KPI’s for new feature delivery and implement the processes for validated learning, post-production measurement, and continuous improvement
Design the set of strategic, core and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and describe internal and external entities such as customers, vendors, internal employees and external systems that interact with the business
Define the data definitions and relationships shared across the BankingSuite platform, and maintain a data management deliverable that describes how data is stored and transferred within and across systems
Define and manage an innovative change process through business strategy inputs, KPI tracking, end-user behavior metrics, and voice of customer research that generates innovative and concrete ideas with feasible execution plans and high-quality production deployments
Ensure consistent rollout of key business themes across all BankingSuite apps, with a primary focus on radically frictionless experiences, cohesion between inbound UI interactions and outbound digital engagement (Email, push, text, etc.), and consistent omni-channel experiences
Build and maintain a feature-oriented roadmap that is backed by ongoing release-oriented capacity and demand planning to ensure feasible outcomes within reasonable timelines
Obsess daily over the customer experience through data-driven analysis, validated learning, and designing comparative experiments. Manage the ongoing interactions with lead users. Use the product as an end user to build empathy and self-identify improvements.

Qualifications

Required:

5+ years’ experience as a Product Manager and/or business, product, or Solution Architect in digital financial services, preferably with business integration and financial data aggregation experience supporting mobile and web-based consumer products in the retail banking or payments industry
Must be highly cross-functional across multiple disciplines including emerging product management practices, HCI and design-thinking, lean startup principles, business systems analysis, BPM, customer experience management, usability engineering, scrum project methods, and quality assurance
Must have experience designing SaaS platforms, business configuration systems, white-label applications, commercialized API’s, and B2C, B2B2C, and/or B2B product delivery models
Must be able to design complex enterprise applications that can scale to M customers and B transactions across 100’s of clients as part of a platform
Experience with lead management, funnel management/conversion techniques, customer relationship management, and case tracking processes and technologies
Experience with all digital user interaction models, from web to mobile to push notifications to emerging HCI channels such as Alexa
Experience with emerging DevOps methods and tools, such as agile/scrum, continuous integration, automated configuration management, test driven development, data center and cloud automation, and UI monitoring and measurement tools, etc.
Experience interacting with executive management and multiple internal and external stakeholders to define and deliver complex features
B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (M.S. or MBA preferred)

Preferred:

Ability to coordinate across multiple FinTech (core banking, card management system, ACH payments, etc.) and horizontal (eventing, CRM, and case management systems) technologies
Strong mix of analytical (interaction and flow design) and artistic (brand and style) design thinking
Understanding of how to leverage responsive, adaptive, and statically designed UI’s effectively
Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
Strong attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Superior verbal and written communications skills and history of teamwork
The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) – Enterprise Architect discipline with a focus on Business Architecture is a plus

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $114,000-$209,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
