We are seeking Courtesy Patrol Agents (Rover) who are energetic, friendly, and professional to join our growing team in San Diego, CA

The Courtesy Patrol (Rover) role is crucial to the security of our community and the safety of our residents and team members. Your primary role is to observe, detect, and report any security concerns to our chain of command. Your ability to meet and greet residents and visitors while patrolling the facility is an added measure of comfort to those who we serve.

Provides exceptional service while on duty such as asking if there’s anything you can assist the resident with
Anticipates needs and reach out if someone looks like they need assistance
Conducts daily rounds on each tour
Checks both the internal and external rounds of the facility that includes but are not limited to all buildings’ main entrances and egress doors, facility man-gates, handicap gates, fire gates, and loading docks (Internal rounds will include but are not limited to checking all elevators to make sure they are operating properly. Any issues surrounding elevators must be reported immediately to the command center)
Checks the said gates and doors throughout the tour to ensure safety
Checks and signs all fire books in the fire control room, acknowledges all trouble alarms on the fire panels, and report any issues to the command center
Responds to all facility emergencies (i.e., fire alarms, elevator entrapments, vehicle accidents on the property, smoke complaints, loud noise complaints, etc.)
Provides a friendly customer service and accurate information to residents and guests
Escorts couriers to the building package concierge locker in all buildings as needed
Covers all post for lunch reliefs
Performs any and all directives from the Facilities Manager, and/or Concierge Director
Completes shift logs each shift, escalating urgent matters or issues to the General Manager and Facilities Director immediately
Checks all doors and amenity spaces while walking the community
Checks amenities to reset all furniture to prepare for the next day or to uphold the standard
Collects towels from any buildings with towel service and brings them down for pick up by the dry-cleaning company (if applicable)
Restocks coffee machines
Checks guest suites and ensure that lights are off and doors are locked if vacant
