About our company:
We are a vendor for the tv & film industry. We work alongside various productions and cater to their location needs. We rent and set up production equipment (i.e., tents, tables, chairs, generators, AC units, etc.) at various locations throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas. This job DOES NOT have a set schedule, we work with the show’s production schedule, and each day will be different.
Driving, Delivery, Set-up, and Pickup:

Drive Sunset owned, leased, or rented vehicles, including vans and 17′ box trucks with a gross vehicle weight of fewer than 26,000 lbs
Ability to maneuver the vehicle in heavy city traffic conditions
Maintain set routes and schedules as directed by their supervisor to meet customer expectations
Loading and unloading of vehicles
Review orders for accuracy during both delivery and pickup to ensure all items are accounted for.
Ensure Sunset’s contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage to the gear
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.
Proficient in using GPS and other map systems.
Must be at least 21 years old to apply for an installer and 26 to apply for installer/driver (for our insurance.)
Authorized to work in the United States
Ability to handle equipment up to 70LB during a 4-12-hour shift
Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening
Must have a Class C license (or higher) from the State of California, DMV.
Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
Must have good English speaking, reading, and communication skills

Equipment Handling

Assist warehouse team with pulling, receiving, and transporting of equipment
Participate in the annual physical inventory process
Perform quality control and equipment staging in the warehouse as directed.
Ensure all equipment is picked up and/or delivered on-site

Vehicle Maintenance:

Works with the warehouse supervisors to ensure that vehicles are well maintained through scheduled service appointments as required
Maintain good general overall appearance of the vehicles and ensure all vehicles are kept clean and free of debris
Perform daily inspection on the vehicle prior to route
Identify mechanical maintenance needs as they occur.
Report any vehicle damages or traffic violations to the immediate supervisor promptly.

We are looking for individuals with:

A positive attitude
People who are eager to learn and work in the film & tv industry as support personnel.
Have a reliable form of transportation to the Pasadena area.
Applicant must be able to work weekends and odd hours (As on-location set-ups usually happen in the early morning or late evening hours.)
The ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts while staying clear of other crew members and vendors working on their responsibilities.
A clear understanding of the demands & pressure required to succeed in a time-sensitive intensive business.
You must take directions well, and have effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
A genuine concern for and commitment to the success of the customers and company.
The ability to stay professional and continue working even in the presence of celebrities.
The ability to meet the demands of the work schedule to be at work and on time.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; use equipment and materials properly.

Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicles, and follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies.
