Chesapeake Hospitality is seeking a proven and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the iconic, renovated Streamline Hotel.
The hotel
The iconic and historic Streamline Hotel was opened in 1940 and became a refuge for celebrities, race car drivers and moonshine gangsters. It is the birthplace of NASCAR, was featured on Travel Channel’s Hotel Impossible and has won numerous awards including the Award of Excellence from Trip Advisor and the AAA triple diamond award.
With a full renovation that preserved the historic aspects of the original hotel, it now offers art deco style and elegance, 44 rooms, a lively roof top bar, restaurant, outdoor pool, fitness center, and meeting room.

As a Chesapeake Hospitality Hotel Manager, your responsibilities will be to lead and effectively manage all hotel functional areas (Food and Beverage, Rooms, Sales, Human Resources, Accounting, and Maintenance) to maximize financial performance while upholding quality standards and maximizing the guest experience. This will include developing strategies, marketing plans, operational goals, and ensuring that business decisions are in line with the company’s mission, values, and guiding principles. Qualifications:
What will make you the ideal Hotel Manager for this unique hotel?

High energy, dynamic and strong leadership.
At least 3 years of Hotel Manager or Assistant General Manager experience.
Verified experience managing heavy Food & Beverage operations.
Experience managing independent/boutique hotels.
Entrepreneurial spirit with drive to be the best.
Ability to effectively implement systems and processes to improve overall hotel operations and profitability.
