Job Description
The Manager of Global Sales Excellence will be a member of Visa’s Global Business Operations team, reporting to the Director of Global Sales Excellence. The team plays a vital role to design and execute on key Sales Excellence initiatives.
Success can only be achieved by driving a highly collaborative operating model aimed at ensuring multiple initiatives, owned by multiple teams, come together to form a cohesive framework that improves our Sales capabilities, diversifies Visa’s revenue streams, and brings down the time taken to realize that revenue across all our product lines.
The position requires a professional with a passion for sales excellence, ability to execute flawlessly in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with a positive can-do attitude.
This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and will focus on the following:
Responsibilities:

Assist with the global rollout and execution of Visa’s Sales Operating Model, working closely with our Sales Excellence colleagues in regions and business units
Design materials and execute on the further development of the Sales Operating Model Drive approaches and activities
Coordinate activities across the regional and business unit Sales Excellence teams to ensure global initiatives are executed consistently, and to foster ever higher levels of collaboration and knowledge sharing
Measure process and execution impact and efficacy, and develop targeted action plans to remediate gaps, where necessary
Understand the challenges and impacts raised during execution motions and work swiftly and collaboratively to adjust
Take the lead on preparing presentations and materials that will be reviewed and discussed with leadership and key stakeholders
Partner with our Sales Enablement and Sales Tools colleagues and teams to enable trainings to drive forward key initiatives
Responsible for overall program and project management of team’s key workstreams and deliverables

Flex Work Arrangement – Hybrid Position – Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree

Preferred Qualifications

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

Ability to implement and execute effective sales excellence programs that not only rank highly for our sales teams, but also drive measurable business outcome
Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
Program and project management experience
Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, intellectually curious, and flexible
Excellent problem-solving skills, highly organized with attention to detail, and adept at multi-tasking and adapting to evolving priorities
Experience quantifying ROI for key initiatives
Knowledge of the payments industry a plus
