Premier Partner Operations develops solutions for high-profile partners, creators, and civic actors by designing and implementing scaled systems to address issues impacting their experiences across the suite of Meta products. Within Premier Partner Operations, Premier Partner Protection protects and ensures safe connections for our constituents. We do so by understanding the landscape, identifying and analyzing problems and trends, and developing and executing strategic solutions. Our mission is to provide world-class protection and support by leveraging deep insights and automation. We partner closely with many cross-functional teams across operations, policy, civic, integrity, data, legal, product, partnerships, and engineering.This role leads a global team responsible for strategic initiatives including Protection’s relationship with various policy, operational, and partnership teams. The team works to anticipate potential threats and abuse in our ecosystem, creates policies and tools to fight against such issues, and implements scaled and tailored enforcement solutions.We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about people management and is a resilient self-starter who thrives in driving structure in ambiguous spaces, working in fast-paced environments and leveraging strong strategic and critical thinking skills to define solutions to new problem sets. You have a passion for developing others and bring out the best in your team. You are an influencer who will work directly with our cross-functional partners to scale global projects from inception to launch.

Protection Manager, Premier Partner Operations Responsibilities:

Lead a high-performing team to develop and implement protection strategies against safety issues and abuse on our platforms, focused on hack, harassment, and impersonation.
Drive team strategy, goal setting, roadmapping, communication, and performance of team members, using data-guided strategies and defined KPIs to measure success and drive improvements.
Identify, monitor, and analyze integrity and operational health metrics, partnering with Data Analytics & Reporting teams to understand metric movements and anomalies.
Provide performance management, coaching, and career development to team members, while removing roadblocks and encouraging innovative solutions.
Be a company-level expert and advocate for protection issues for our civic and high-profile constituencies, influencing priorities and working closely with Premier Partner Operations teams and partner organizations.
Partner with internal groups to understand constituent issues, risks associated with products and services, and address feedback from partners to develop and implement sensitive operational strategies.
Manage complex initiatives to evolve and grow the maturity of our protection operations and strategies across the platform, identifying trends to optimize and introduce workflows to improve constituent experiences and support.

Minimum Qualifications:

8+ years experience working in operations (online operations, risk, policy, integrity or management consulting within those areas)
Executive and corporate communications experience
3+ years experience in people management
Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and globally
3+ years experience in trust & safety operations
3+ years experience leading global projects from inception to completion
Proven analytical and problem-solving experience

Preferred Qualifications:

BA/BS degree or higher
Experience working with product, engineering, and technical teams
Experience in trust & safety operations in tech including harassment, hack, or impersonation
