Location: Remote, anywhere in the US
The CSI Companies is hiring a Payroll HRIS Analyst for our Fortune 100 healthcare client. This job can be worked from anywhere in the US as long as you have high speed internet and a distraction-free home office area.
Job Summary
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for running payroll, balancing, trouble-shooting and coordinating efficient processes on a bi-weekly basis. This position must maintain good relationships with business unit clients, and other HC departments and vendors on a consistent basis.
Pay: $60-65 an hour (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).
Hours: Full Time – Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CT

Consultant: Starting off as a consultant/contractor there is always potential for long term / conversion for the right employee upon business needs. Almost all of the positions within this client start off as a contractor due to being a Fortune 100 company.
Effective Date / Tentative Start Date: Interviewing Immediately
Job Duties:

Identify new processes or changes to existing payroll systems processes
Act as a functional SME for PeopleSoft HRMS
Partner Human Capital Business Analysis and Technology on trouble shooting and resolution of system issues
Make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness within PeopleSoft
Responsible for accurate run control and creation of payroll, including mass uploads
Contribute to the creation of monitoring processes to assess the quality of Payroll and HR data; ensure accurate payroll runs each pay period
Create and assist with data queries for internal HR Operations customers and necessary audit requests
Research and identify root causes for problems and own the resolution
Review and assist with revision of run control, job stream management and interface management
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees
Collaborate with Benefits, Wealth, Rewards, Compensation and HR communities in the support of HR business initiatives
Maintain effective relationships with key internal and external customers and vendors
Support acquisition initiatives related to payroll and employee integration
Develop queries and reports for auditing payroll data and preventing errors
Assist with testing for fixes, enhancements, upgrades to PeopleSoft and other platforms that team interfaces with
Other projects as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with hard deadlines simultaneously
Project documentation discipline
Strong analytical, problem solving and payroll related technical skills
Strong understanding of how to build efficient payroll processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio; i.e., Word – documentation purposes; Excel – data mining and reporting, handling calculations, formulas and Vlookups; Visio – documentation purposes
Able to work various hours as needed to support payroll processing
A reliable high-speed internet connection (the faster the better!)
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a closed-door

Highly Preferred

2+ years functional experience with PeopleSoft HRMS version 9.1 and higher, North American Payroll, Core HR and Time & Labor
Healthcare experience
SQL experience
