Job Description
The Technical Sales Manager for BNPL is a sales professional who will specializes in understanding the value proposition and benefits of the BNPL offering and be able to articulate the message to potential Customers. A primary responsibility of the Technical Sales Engineer will be to explain the product features to existing and potential customers during live presentations as well as assist in negotiating contract terms if required. This individual will lead the effort, as a subject matter expert, to engage the existing Sales teams across the Elavon Acquiring business line to facilitate the adoption of the new BNPL lending solution in an effort to grow adoption rates across all sales channels and drive cross-sell opportunities.


Create and deliver technical presentations that follow BNPL brand messaging to educate existing and potential customers how the BNPL offering and services work.
Work with the customer to ensure the integration requirements are met prior to Go-Live.
Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
Based on direct customer feedback, identify enhancements and work with the product, technology and customer success teams to plan out necessary modifications to the BNPL offering to meet consumer demands.
Help customers solve problems with product usage and integration.
Must have strong collaboration skills to work across multiple channels in the org structure to facilitate new sales growth.
Supports the sale and implementation of selected technical or complex products, services and solutions.
Responsible for displaying a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of our company’s products and services and how they integrate into the customer’s operations, consistent with a bundled or solution oriented approach to obtaining new business.
Builds customer confidence in our company’s technical solutions, and addresses all technical objections/concerns from prospective customers throughout the sales cycle.
Functional responsibilities may include pre-proposal discussions with potential customers either in person or via conference call, developing and delivering customized client proposals, demonstrations and presentations, consulting in technical sales strategy for customers, assisting in proposal preparation, pricing recommendations and implementation support, and training sales team with product technical details.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Ten or more years of related experience, preferably in selling multiple, complex integrated solutions to a variety of customers

Preferred Skills/Experience

Demonstrated consultative, solutions-based selling background and experience
Proficient technical and analytical acumen
Specialized knowledge of products and solutions in primary area of responsibility as well as related products and solutions offered by other business lines
Expert proficiency demonstrating complex/software based solutions
Proficient in working effectively with a variety of function groups to assemble customer solutions
Excellent presentation, training, verbal and written communication skills

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $115,005.00 – $135,300.00 – $148,830.00
