Support and assist the department Supervisor and Manager. Coordinates and processes all volunteers schedules, orientations, and clearance. Practices Baptist Health philosophy of service excellence to provide a professional, compassionate and friendly environment for our guests, staff, and volunteers. Work closely with other departments to match volunteer expertise with department need, and provide oversight to ensure matches are working effectively. Assist with processes and overview of all volunteer programs and special projects including fundraising.
High School Diploma, Certificate of Completion, GED, Training, or Experience required. Customer Service experience in Healthcare setting or community agency. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, stress tolerant, and ability to remain flexible with frequent reprioritization of agenda. Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and able to learn new computer software systems, such as Volgistics, a Volunteer Tracking Program. Minimum Required Experience: 2
